What would be the ship's rope among the most famous naval hero in our national history? Nothing, that's our opinion.

We are of course talking about Michiel de Ruyter (born in 1607, in Zeeland). The man who had excellent strategic insight on the raging seas. As a result, he was appointed commander in chief of the Dutch fleet. But he didn't just become that, his career started as a boat boy when he was only eleven years old. Michiel then traveled from South America to the Caribbean. Less than three years later he was briefly in the army of Prince Maurits. Here Michiel was a bus shooter and he defended Bergen op Zoom against the Spaniards. After which he became mate on the Groene Leeuw in 1633, after which he started working as a merchantman.

You can notice that Michiel has tremendous perseverance. Because the next step Michiel made was in 1644 when he bought his own ship, the Salamander. Here he was also a merchantman, but independently.

But he only really became known when he was allowed to command the war fleet as captain. De Zeeuw won important naval battles during the First and Second Anglo-Dutch Wars. A greatest man who has protected the Dutch waters.

Not that you now have to take down anyone who disagrees with you or stands in your way, no. But the determination and to rise above yourself, that is something to cherish. Dare to choose for yourself. Only leave others very well!

  1. Zelf opmeten door middel van een koord of touwtje:
    Leg het koord of touwtje om je pols (net boven het polsbot, richting je hand) en meet vervolgens met een liniaal hoeveel cm de omtrek van je pols is.
  2. Heb je geen koord of touwtje beschikbaar? Dan hebben wij een digitale tool beschikbaar die je thuis kan printen, zodat je thuis gemakkelijk je polsomtrek (net boven het polsbot, richting je hand) op kan meten. 
  3. Heb je geen printer beschikbaar of is het voor iemand anders? Geen probleem, bij elke eerste bestelling voegen wij een fysiek meetlint toe. Door onze maatgarantie heb je alsnog de juiste maat.

If you make use of your right of withdrawal, the bracelet with all accessories supplied will be returned to the entrepreneur in its original condition and packaging. We will then refund the order amount due within 14 days after registration of your return, provided that the product has already been returned in good order.

*Why no free returns? That's because we want to prevent people from ordering too much unnecessarily. As a result, our contribution to CO2 emissions increases.

Shipping condition

We use a rate of €1.95 for letterbox packages in Netherlands, the order amount is €35,- or more, then the shipment is free.

We charge a rate of €3.49 for letterbox parcels in Europe, if the order amount is €50 or more, shipping is free.

You also do not have to stay at home for the shipment because the packaging falls under the letterbox packages and is delivered by PostNL or DHL. We currently use a delivery time of 2 working days to make and deliver the bracelet to size.
